This week, our whole 4th grade( Mrs. Huddleston, Mrs. Thompson , Ms. Mills, and Mr. Hall )earned a popsicle party for their awesome behavior and positive example throughout the building. Way to go boys and girls!!
A huge thank you to the Centerburg PTO for sponsoring these celebrations and supporting our students.
Our students are working hard every day to improve positive behavior and create a respectful, responsible , and safe school environment.

September is Knox County Attendance Month!
This September, Centerburg is joining every Knox County school district in a countywide effort to help students understand why attendance matters.
Throughout the month, our students will hear directly from local employers about one of the
most important qualities they look for in future employees:
✔ Showing up.
Good attendance isn't just about being present in class—it helps students build habits like responsibility, teamwork, commitment, and dependability that lead to success in school, careers,
and life.
Each week we'll share a new employer video along with resources for students and families.
We invite you to follow along, watch the videos, and continue the conversation at home.
Together, we're helping students build habits that last a lifetime.

Community Update
The fire alarm at the Centerburg Middle/High School building was activated this afternoon. The COFJD responded promptly and thoroughly checked the building. We are grateful to report that everything is okay, and there is no cause for concern.
A sincere thank-you to our fire department for their quick response and for helping ensure the safety of our students and staff! 🚒❤️

From organizing and cleaning to preparing classrooms, hallways, and everything in between, they put in countless hours to make sure we could kick off the year organized, clean, welcoming, and ready to go!
