Due to the recent news regarding early dismissal on May 25, we are working on a new schedule for the Elementary Awards Assembly and Fifth Grade Clap Out. We will post the schedule as soon as it's completed.
Centerburg Community Memorial Day services will be expanded this year in honor of the 50th anniversary of the death of Capt. Peter Hayden Chapman in Vietnam. The United States Air Force Band of Flight will be present at the ceremony and also will provide a free concert, along with the the High School Jazz Band at 2 pm at the HS. The memorial ceremony starts at 11 am at Eastview Cemetery. Seating is provided this year.
Due to an event held at the High School on May 25, school will dismiss early. HS/MS will dismiss at 12:45 and the Elementary will dismiss at 1 pm on May 25. KCCC and Learning center students will be picked up early so they can ride their normal bus home that afternoon. Times for dismissal at KCCC and the Learning Center will be published as soon as it is determined.
Just a reminder for those planning to attend the HS KMAC track meet this evening at Fredericktown. All tickets must be purchased online at the following link.

*All campers will receive a camp t-shirt and a basketball.

Softball Tournament Update:
Our Lady Trojans will be traveling to Elgin on Thursday May 12th in a sectional final. First pitch is at 5pm. All tickets for this game must be purchased online. There will be NO cash sales at the gate.
Price: All tickets are $8 up until 2pm on 5/12. After 2pm on the 12th, all tickets are $10.

FCCLA Officers and Student Leaders attended FCCLA State Leadership Conference on April 28 at the Ohio Expo Center. Our chapter was recognized on stage as recipients of a $1000 stipend. Officers, leaders and members organized a community service project teaching classes about the dangers of distracted driving which earned the stipend. OSU Coach Ryan Day and Dom Tiberi of Maria's Message presented the awards.

Anyone interested in playing soccer? There will be high school tryouts on Tuesday 5/10 and Thursday 5/12 from 5:30pm to 7pm. Middle school tryouts will take place on Monday 5/9 and Wednesday 5/11 from 5:30pm 7pm. Athletes wanting to play should report to the soccer fields between the track and the softball field. Please bring a water bottle, cleats, shin guards and a size 5 ball.
Please note that this is run by the Centerburg Youth Soccer Club, and is not school sponsored.
Senior night for our baseball boys! To top it off, they pulled out a win against the Freddies! Way to go, boys!
