MS/HS Parents: Tonight is our second night of parent/teacher conferences. Conferences are from 4-7pm. If you would like to schedule for tonight, please email kristi.adams@centerburgschools.org, please include your child's name and the teacher you are requesting to meet with. Our next set of conferences will be Feb. 6th & 10th.

If you are interested in taking college courses during high school, you must attend a required info session.

Who: anyone interested in taking CCP (college credit plus classes)
This meeting is for you and a parent/guardian to attend and learn about CCP opportunities and expectations.
If you are currently a CCP student, you are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE MEETING AGAIN. The State of Ohio makes changes from time to time and you are responsible for knowing all current information.
**Can't make this meeting? This happens for a few each year. Please note that it is still a requirement. Surrounding schools have these meetings during this time of the year and you can attend an info session at a different location, but please provide proof of attendance. Their school counselor can sign off on a pamphlet or send me an email with notification of your attendance.

To clarify any confusion. Today's drill involves only 24 students and their families. For everyone else it is a regular school day.
Parent/Student reunification will take place at Energy Field House located at 101 Yellow Jacket Drive Mount Vernon Ohio 43050 beginning around 9:45am.
Parents - you will need a photo ID to pick up your child.

Both the elementary and MS/HS buildings have been evacuated due to XXXXX emergency. Students are making their way to the rally point at this time. Parents- please do not come to the rally point. Details of when and how you can pick up your child will be sent via text in a few minutes.

Reminder: A small group of students, families, and staff will be participating in a county wide reunification drill today beginning at 9:00am. For more info about the reunification process see our recent district newsletter.
Volleyball Tournament Time:
The Lady Trojans will be hosting Elgin in a District Semi Final matchup on Wednesday October 23rd at 6pm. Doors open at 5pm. Admission Prices are as follows:
Adults: $8
Students:$5
Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets , or at the gate. Cash only at the gate.
With this being an OHSAA sanctioned tournament game, NO Passes of any kind will be accepted!
The winner of our match will face the winner of the Delaware Christian/West Jeff match on Saturday October 26th at 2pm at Granville High School.
Centerburg Local Schools working with Knox Public Health will be hosting two listening meetings regarding student and family health in Centerburg. The dates are 10/29 online via Zoom and 11/7 in the HS/MS library at 6:30pm. Please join us. Use the QR code to register.

Unfortunately, due to low numbers and injuries, Loudonville is unable to play the JV football game on Saturday morning. We have been actively looking for a replacement opponent and have not been able to find a replacement team. At this time, the JV game has been canceled on Saturday 9/21.

Threats have been circulating on social media regarding Knox County Schools. I received confirmation minutes ago that the threats were made in Knox Kentucky. The juvenile who created the original threat was arrested earlier today. This threat is not directed at our local schools. As always, be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior to the Knox County Sheriffs Department.
