Centerburg High School auditorium at 3782 Columbus Road.
Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical follows Matilda Wormwood, a brilliant and
imaginative young girl who is neglected by her parents but finds comfort in books and
storytelling.  When she starts school, she meets a kind teacher, Miss Honey, and faces a cruel
headmistress, Miss Trunchbull.  As Matilda discovers she has special telekinetic powers, she
uses her intelligence, courage, and abilities to stand up to injustice, help her friends and teacher,
and ultimately change her own future.
The lead roles of Matilda, Miss Honey, and Miss Trunchbull will be played by
sophomore Myla Mowry, senior Molly Hartman, and senior Layke Burke, respectively.
The cast also includes seniors Rigby Arter, Talia Brigner, Nathan Costa, Asher Kennedy,
and Leo Speakman.
Junior cast members include Brody Andrews, Logan Brison, Tesla Blankenship, Tressie
Beverly, Gwennan Ellis, Dayna Meier, Elizabeth Waddell, and Myka Wenell.
The cast includes sophomores Miles Bishop, Jeannae Dial, Afton Ellis, Madalinn Glenn,
Ella Jackson, Aiden Moore, Mikena Tilley, and Miles Ward.
Freshman cast members include Elena Garner, Analise Hernandez, Meredith Lahrmer,
and Briley Wagner.
The ensemble also includes middle schoolers Rosalina Bernicken, Anna Chrysler,
Airiana Genther, Quinn Keaton, Abigail O’Keefe, and Aiden Parks.
Tickets for Matilda are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens.  Tickets can

are general admission, and no passes or discounts will be accepted.  For ticketing or any
additional information, please contact the Centerburg High School office at 740-625-6055.
With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda has won 47
international awards and continues to thrill sold-out audiences of all ages around the world.

an extraordinary imagination.
