First Day of School is Wednesday, August 16, 2023!
Final Forms
Centerburg Elementary is using Final Forms once again. You should only have to update your information from last year. Once a student is registered in powerschool, the parent should create an account on final forms. Go to the district website www.centerburgschools.org, and click on: “Final Forms”. If assistance is needed, please do not hesitate to call. If you need computer/internet access you can come into the school to complete. Incoming kindergarten students have completed their Final Forms at registration.
Class Assignments
To find out who your child’s teacher is we need your Final Forms to be completed. You can stop in the office, call the school, or email attendance.el@centerburgschools.org the week of August 7th after you have completed Final Forms.
Open House
Elementary - Monday, August 14th from 6:00-7:30pm
Kindergarten Orientation - Tuesday, August 15th from 5:00-6:00pm
School Hours
8:00am Breakfast is available in the cafeteria - Students enter through loading dock doors
8:25am Doors open for all students
8:28am Warning Bell
8:30am School Starts
3:00pm K-1 car riders dismissed
3:07pm Walkers, car riders
3:10pm 2-5 grades dismissed
Parents will not be able to accompany children to their classroom or come into the building at the end of the day to pick up their child*. The pick up procedure is as follows: students in K/1 will be picked up at the playground gate. Please park your car and come to the gate and staff will release students. Grades 2-5 will be released out of the side doors / back doors to go straight to the parking lots for pick up.
Attendance Updates
If your child is going to be absent or if you need to change the way your child is going home you may call the office or email attendance.el@centerburgschools.org both secretaries will be checking it throughout the school day.
Misc
Forgotten items (lunch, homework, etc) and birthday treats may be dropped off at the office.
No lunch guests permitted.
If you would like to meet with your child’s teacher, please make an appointment with them by calling and leaving a message or emailing the teacher.

How to be involved with the school
Join PTO! The parent teacher organization meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the Teacher’s Lounge.
Sign up to volunteer in your child’s classroom!
Sign up to join us on a Field Trip! You must be background checked to do this.
