Centerburg Local Schools

Centerburg High School is looking for a color guard instructor for the 2023-2024 school year.  Applicants should have experience in the areas of silk and rifle spinning, creation of guard work (routine) and basic visual design and choreography.  The color guard instructor will also need to place orders (or communicate orders to the band director) in preparation for the season.  The year begins in late January with one practice per week, including any new students who have an interest in joining.  The season concludes at the end of October.  Instructors much attend the school's band camp and be present at all football games and band competitions.  Compensation is through the agreement with the Centerburg Board of Education.  Interested applicants should contact the CHS Band Office at 740-625-6055, ext.  2185, Chuck Dettmar.
